getting outside

Wednesday, May 06, 2015

I hope you are having the same awesome weather as we are.  It practically feels like summer!  The flowers are going in, and we have big plans to get the vegetable garden planted this weekend.  I have even bigger plans to finish the first sleeve by Sunday.  And, I've given myself till the end of the month to finish the sweater.  Fingers crossed.  My toes are crossed that I don't run out of yarn.

  2. It is gorgeous here, too! Much hotter than normal so I am secretly hoping the temps go down a bit before they stay in the 80's. Still, I'll take it!

  3. I really REALLY love that sweater! (I hate, though, that you have to play 'chicken' with the yarn....hoping you win; this is always my idea of living on the edge----happens a lot around here.) Enjoy being outside!

  4. It's warming up here in Michigan too! My knitting outside only seems to happen at baseball games. :) Hoping to get my veggies going soon. Good luck with your sweater...

  5. Oh, our weather has been gorgeous too, with temps forecasted this weekend to be in the upper 70's!! I plan to knit outside and enjoy the view of our newly planted and already sprouting garden. Oh, and I am pulling for you to win that game of chicken! (love that sweater pattern too!)

  6. lovely sweater. It's perfectly gorgeous weather here too and I've been out all day long. Love this time of year. I just finished knitting a pair of baby cardigans. I knit my sleeves two at a time especially when low on yarn -- that way they each have the exact same amount and same length in case I run out :)
